Welcome to Parsat Portal documentation¶
This document aims to provide background information on Geographical information System in regards to the Parsat Portal. The document will also explain the development process, technologies used to develop the portal and the deployment process.
Background information¶
The parsat portal is an open source web portal platform that allows/facilitates the creation, sharing and the collaborative use of geospatial data. The Parsat portal brings together GIS components to a single platform as shown below:
